BioLineRx shares rose 8.4% in premarket trading after development partner Hemispherian received an approval notice from the US Patent Office for GLIX1. The patent covers the use of GLIX1 in cancers where cytidine deaminase is not overexpressed above a defined threshold, a characteristic thought to be present in more than 90% of tumors.
