Cathay Pacific buys back Qatar Airways stake for HK$6.97bn

Cathay Pacific is acquiring the 9.57% stake held by Qatar Airways for a total of HK$6.97 billion (HK$10.8374 per share). The buyback price is 3.9% below Wednesday's closing price and 20.6% below the price Qatar Airways paid in 2017.
