Centaurus Metals presented its nickel sulphide project in Brazil at the Diggers & Dealers forum as a low-cost tier‑1 deposit, highlighting secured core approvals including a mining licence, environmental approval and power connection. The project has a total resource of 138 million tonnes at 0.87% Ni (about 1.2 million tonnes of contained nickel); initial production is expected to yield around 22,500 t of nickel per year and generate annual cash flow of roughly AUD 170 million. A five-year offtake agreement with Glencore for 20,000 t of concentrate per year supports debt financing, with the final investment decision (FID) planned for the end of Q3 2026. Centaurus Metals presented Jaguar as a potential global nickel sulphide mine with 1.2 million tonnes of contained nickel and full approvals.
