Chariot plans 25-for-1 share consolidation and calls general meeting in September

Chariot finances stake in Angolan oil production with Shell acquisition financing

Chariot announced that a subsidiary of Etu Energias has signed a purchase agreement for 20% of Block 14 and 10% of Block 14K offshore Angola. Chariot provided a $12m deposit and funds for transaction costs, while Shell Western Supply and Trading is providing an acquisition financing package secured against future oil deliveries. The deal gives Chariot economic access to cash flows from currently about 4,000 barrels/day; the indicative NPV10 is stated at over $100m (oil price assumption $60/barrel). Chariot secures $2.9m via open offer to part-fund stake in Angola

Chariot raised about $2.9m (£2.1m) gross through an open offer; 155,678,180 shares (69% of the maximum offer) were subscribed at 1.9 pence per share. CEO Adonis Pouroulis subscribed for $0.25m, increasing his holding to 10.09%; other managers also participated. One warrant will be issued for each new ordinary share (exercise price 2.4 pence, expiry 9 April 2029).
