Charles Schwab reported net inflows of $64.8 billion for August 2026, up 46% year‑over‑year and a monthly record. Client assets rose to $13.41 trillion (+19% y/y), active brokerage accounts totaled 40.1 million, and 424,000 new accounts were opened during the month. Securities lending climbed to $177.6 billion, cash in sweep accounts to $483.3 billion, and average daily trades to 9.8 million. Schwab introduces AI solution 'Claude for Financial Advisors' for independent asset managers

Schwab is partnering with Anthropic to make the AI solution "Claude for Financial Advisors" available to more than 16,000 supported independent asset managers. The tool can be integrated into existing advisor platforms (CRM, custody management, reporting, financial and estate planning) and assists with meeting preparation, financial plan updates, analysis and client communications. Access is via an authenticated connection to the Schwab Advisor Center and includes audit logs for administrators. Charles Schwab will add Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX) and Chainlink (LINK) to Schwab Crypto in the coming months, expanding beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.
