CMC Markets raises forecast and stock climbs to record high

The CMC Markets share rose intraday to a record high, gaining about 23.6% to 566p after the company significantly raised its profit forecast for 2027. The target for net operating revenues was lifted to at least £550m (previous range £460–480m) and a new EBITDA target of £250m was introduced. The upgrade follows strong FY2026 results: net operating revenues +15% to £392.6m and profit before tax +20% to £101.3m. CMC Markets raises forecast after strong annual results, shares jump significantly

CMC Markets reported a pre-tax profit of £101.3m for fiscal 2026 (+20%) and net operating income of £392.6m (+15%), both above prior expectations. Earnings per share rose to 27.5p and total revenue was £418.7m. Empyrean Energy secures £1 million for development of Mako gas field

Empyrean Energy has raised £1 million through the placement of new shares to finance development costs for its stake in the Mako gas field in Indonesia. The funds will also serve as general working capital, with the new shares expected to begin trading on the AIM market from July 25.
