Coherent pushes optical scale-across networks forward for AI scaling

At the Six Five Summit, Coherent said AI workloads will in future be distributed across multiple data centers, requiring a new “scale-across” networking approach with very high bandwidth and high energy efficiency. The company highlighted its vertical integration, a broad portfolio of photonic technologies and more than 50 manufacturing sites as competitive advantages.
