Currys rolls out NICE CXone platform across entire customer service
Currys has implemented NICE’s cloud-based CXone platform for its entire service operation in the UK, South Africa and India. The solution consolidates voice, email and social‑media channels, processes around 6 million customer interactions annually and was deployed with Concentrix. Currys reports a first-contact resolution rate of nearly 80%, contacts per order falling to 0.18, and marked improvements in Net Promoter Score and reduced complaints. Currys warns of tight fan and air-conditioning supplies after surge in sales
Currys reports a near 3,000% spike in fan sales over the latest heatwave weekend and a 330% rise in air-conditioning sales, leaving stock tight ahead of another expected UK heatwave. Full-year sales rose 6% to £9.2bn and pre-tax profits climbed 23% to £153m, with UK stores up 3% as the retailer expanded into new product categories and services. Currys posts strong half-year growth despite pressure in the UK
Currys reports H1 2025/26 revenue up 8% to £4,230m and adjusted EBIT of £54m (+32%), accompanied by an increase in adjusted earnings per share to 1.6p. Free cash flow rose 68% to £84m, and net cash improved to £133m. The Nordics segment delivered strong results with revenue +11% and adjusted EBIT +94%, while UK & Ireland recorded a 17% decline in EBIT due to government-related cost increases.
