Derichebourg raises forecast after strong half and announces Scholz Recycling takeover

Derichebourg reported an H1 revenue increase of 7.8% to €1.83 billion and an adjusted EBITDA of just under €178 million (+9.7%); operating profit rose 22.3% to €98 million. The company has raised its EBITDA guidance for the fiscal year to €350–370 million (previously €320–350 million). Derichebourg strengthens European business with acquisition of Scholz Recycling Group

Derichebourg is acquiring the Scholz Recycling Group to significantly expand its metal recycling business in Europe. Derichebourg announces takeover of Scholz Recycling Group

Derichebourg intends to acquire the Scholz Recycling Group; the purchase price was not disclosed and completion is expected in the second half of 2026. Scholz most recently employed around 3,500 people at over 180 locations and has a strong market position in Europe. The transaction will be financed with cash and a bridge loan from BNP Paribas, and Derichebourg intends to keep its leverage ratio below regulatory limits.
