Enbridge highlights durable cash flow and large project backlog to support 5.8% dividend

Enbridge’s diversified pipeline and utility portfolio produces highly predictable cash flows, with about 98% from cost-of-service or long-term fee contracts, enabling a conservative 60–70% payout ratio and a 5.8% yield. Leadership change at Enbridge: Matthew Akman to become president, gas transmission; Allen Capps to lead power

Enbridge announced personnel restructuring effective January 1, 2026: Cynthia Hansen will move into a special advisor role and retire in 2027. Matthew Akman will become executive vice president and president of the gas transmission unit and will relocate to Houston. Allen Capps will become senior vice president, strategy and president of the power unit, taking over Akman’s previous responsibilities. Enbridge approves expansion of Algonquin gas transmission pipeline

Enbridge reached a final investment decision to proceed with expansion of the Algonquin gas transmission (AGT) pipeline, adding about 75 million cubic feet per day of capacity under long-term contracts to meet rising U.S. natural gas demand. The company expects to invest $300 million in system upgrades and complete the enhancement by 2029.
