Frasers expands influence at Hugo Boss and seeks majority stake

Frasers holds 47.89 percent of Hugo Boss after a takeover offer and has increased its influence on the supervisory board. Supervisory board chairman Stephan Sturm will step down from his mandate on October 15, 2026, apparently at the urging of the majority investor. Frasers intends to send another member, Robert Palmer, to the supervisory board alongside CEO Michael Murray and aims to raise its stake to over 50 percent; earlier Hugo Boss had already adjusted its dividend policy in favor of higher growth investments.
