Genworth Financial: stock falls after CEO takes medical leave
Shares of Genworth Financial fell 1.9% in after-hours trading after CEO Tom McInerney is taking a temporary leave due to health issues. Genworth beats earnings expectations in Q1 thanks to strong Enact performance
Genworth reported adjusted operating earnings of $0.28 per share in the first quarter, well ahead of analysts’ expectations, driven by mortgage-insurance subsidiary Enact, which contributed $140 million to results and released reserves.
