GreenX Metals has received a payment of AUD 1.6 million from Poland to cover legal costs after the Singapore International Commercial Court dismissed Poland's application to set aside an ECT arbitral award. In October 2024 GreenX was already awarded roughly GBP 252 million in compensation and interest, of which about GBP 183 million related to the ECT award. Poland has appealed the dismissal to the Court of Appeal in Singapore; a hearing is expected in the second half of the year. GreenX Metals placed 16 million new ordinary shares at AUD 0.85 each, raising about AUD 13.6 million. The placement was led by SCP Resource Finance LP and supported by existing shareholders and new institutional investors from North America and Europe, including Germany and Switzerland. Proceeds will fund exploration and development of the Tannenberg copper project in Germany and the Eleonore North gold‑antimony project in Greenland, and will also be used for general working capital, including costs of an ongoing arbitration against Poland. The Singapore International Commercial Court dismissed Poland’s request to set aside the ECT arbitration award and upheld the October 2024 decision that awarded GreenX around £183 million. That amount is part of a total compensation package of £252 million, which also includes a BIT claim. Since the original award, additional interest of about £17 million has accrued up to December 2025 and will continue to accrue until Poland pays.
