Groupe Minoteries recorded an EBIT loss of CHF 1.42 million in the first half and closed with a net loss of CHF 962,000 after a profit of CHF 2.65 million in the same period last year. Weighing on results were CHF 3.1 million in provisions (including CHF 2.8 million of write-downs on residual values in Zollbrück and CHF 250,000 for the social plan) and CHF 5.47 million higher personnel and operating expenses from the full integration of the Swiss peeling mill E.
