Shareholders of Halyk Bank approved in a written extraordinary general meeting a dividend of 28.09 KZT per ordinary share, financed from undistributed net profit of previous years for the 2025 payment period. Payments begin on 7 September 2026; the record date for dividend entitlement is 26 August 2026, 00:00 Almaty time. Halyk Bank: half-year profit 2026 falls due to margin pressure
Halyk Bank reported a net profit of around 500 billion KZT for H1 2026, a decline of 15.3% year on year, weighed down by higher minimum reserve requirements, tighter rules for retail loans and rising deposit costs. Net interest income rose 2.6% and loan growth in the retail, SME and corporate segments remained robust, while fee income fell 19.6%. Management confirmed the full-year guidance of 1 Bio.
