Herald Investment Trust plans buyback offer for up to 100% of shares near NAV

Herald Investment Trust has announced a voluntary buyback offer allowing shareholders to sell up to 100% of their holdings at a price close to net asset value. The move is in response to pressure from Saba Capital Management (about a 30.7% stake) and is conditional on Saba tendering all or most of its holding. If Saba blocks the offer, the board intends to carry out an alternative backstop tender offer by a simple majority; directors plan to tender only in the backstop offer. The offer is expected to run until mid-February 2026, the general meeting is expected in early February, and all costs will be borne from the tender pool so remaining shareholders will not be charged. » Plus sur de.investing.com
