HUTCHMED receives conditional approval in China for fanregratinib (ATLED) for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma

The Chinese drug regulator has granted HUTCHMED conditional approval for fanregratinib (brand name ATLED) to treat adult patients with advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma with FGFR2 fusions after prior systemic therapy. The approval is based on a Phase II study in China showing an objective response rate of 42.5%, a median duration of response of 6.9 months, a median progression-free survival of 6.9 months and a median overall survival of 16.6 months.
