Das Segment Getreide züchtet, produziert und vertreibt Saatgut für Roggen, Weizen, Gerste und Raps. Dieses Segment erwirtschaftet auch Erträge aus anderen Kulturen, darunter Sorghum, Erbsen, Zwischenfrüchte und Hafer. Das Segment Gemüse bietet Saatgut für Spinat, Bohnen, Karotten und Tomaten an. Das Unternehmen war früher als KWS SAAT SE bekannt und änderte seinen Namen in KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA im Juli 2019. Die KWS SAAT SE & Co.
