LiveOne plans expansion to Africa with $20 million financing

UK Structured Finance Ltd is to raise $20 million to support digital infrastructure, artist partnerships and localized streaming content in Europe and Africa. LiveOne meets NASDAQ requirements again and stock rises

LiveOne has again met NASDAQ’s minimum bid price requirement after the required minimum price was maintained for the prescribed number of consecutive trading days. The stock then rose 5.1%. The company views regaining compliance as confirmation of its financial and operational stability and expects a broader institutional investor base and higher liquidity as a result. LiveOne files appeal against NASDAQ delisting and carries out 1-to-10 reverse split

LiveOne received a delisting notice from NASDAQ for failing to meet the $1.00 minimum bid price and was not eligible for a second 180-day extension. The company filed a timely appeal and requested a hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel, which has suspended the delisting until the process concludes. To address the low share price, LiveOne implemented a 1:10 reverse split and plans to present the panel with a plan to regain compliance; a further extension of up to 180 days is possible but not guaranteed.
