Ur Energy increases yellowcake production and shipments in Q2 2024
Ur Energy produced 141,000 pounds of yellowcake in Q2 2024 (+47% vs. the prior quarter) and shipped 150,000 pounds, generating contract revenue of USD 14.4 million. Improvements such as a sand filtration system at Lost Creek and Shirley Basin moving to full production raised flow rates and production capacity; cash costs were USD 40.20 per pound sold. Ur-Energy receives Wyoming approval to scale Shirley Basin to full in situ uranium recovery
The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality approved Ur-Energy's Shirley Basin Uranium Recovery Program after a preoperational assessment, clearing the way to expand to full-scale ISR operations. Approval allows transport of uranium-loaded resin from Shirley Basin to the Lost Creek processing plant, with shipments to begin shortly as wellfield flow rates ramp to commercial levels. Ur-Energy completes 100th U3O8 shipment from Lost Creek
Ur-Energy completed its 100th shipment of U3O8 uranium concentrate from the Lost Creek ISR facility, with the milestone load departing June 11 and bringing total shipments to more than 3.5 million pounds since 2013. At its June 4 shareholders meeting the company reappointed BDO USA as auditor, saw strong support for executive compensation votes, and renewed its stock option plan.
