Mallinckrodt: Acthar Gel shows improved results in study for ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis

A cross-sectional study using physician surveys and chart review reported improvements after treatment with Acthar Gel in 95% of 63 ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients and 88% of 77 psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients. Among those who improved, 70% of AS and 63% of PsA patients reported relief of overall symptoms, and 68% and 62% reported reduced pain, respectively; about 30% were able to reduce their corticosteroid use. The study noted improvements in physical function, strength and fatigue but cited the lack of a control group and differences in documentation as limitations. Mallinckrodt appoints Christiana Stamoulis as new CFO following merger with Endo

Mallinckrodt has appointed Christiana Stamoulis, previously CFO at Incyte, as its new Chief Financial Officer and President, effective September 22, 2025. Mallinckrodt benefits from Endo acquisition and improved S&P rating

Following Mallinckrodt's acquisition of Endo, S&P Global has raised Endo's rating to 'BB-' and set the outlook to 'stable'. The planned spin-off of the generics business is seen by S&P as slightly credit negative, but this is partially offset by stronger growth and higher margins in the remaining branded business.
