Octave Intelligence cuts guidance after revenue miss and reports $2.1 billion write-down

Octave Intelligence narrowly missed Q2 revenue consensus with $398.4 million versus $400.3 million expected, but beat adjusted EPS at $0.36 versus $0.32 expected. Billion write-down pushes Octave into the red in Q2

Octave reported total Q2 revenue of $398 million (-4% y/y) and recurring revenue of $283 million (+6% y/y); ARR rose to $1.143 billion (+7%). The quarter ended with a net loss of $1.971 billion, driven by non-cash impairments of $2.135 billion (goodwill $1.671 billion, trademark/intangible rights $464 million). Operating cash flow was $125 million, free cash flow $93 million; at the end of June the company held $304 million in cash with total liabilities of $644 million.
