Portman buys Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta for $1.5 billion fund

Portman, through its Portman Hospitality Fund I, has acquired the 1,073-room Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta from Marriott. The building will remain managed by Marriott on a long-term basis; Portman plans extensive renovations of the rooms, public areas and meeting facilities ahead of Super Bowl 2028. The transaction is the fund’s first investment and expands Portman’s hospitality portfolio to eight hotels in five U.S. markets with around 4,000 rooms and approximately $1.5 billion in managed hospitality assets. » Plus sur de.investing.com
