Robinson warns of profit decline and cuts full-year forecast, shares fall sharply
Robinson reports first-half revenue rising to £28.9m, but adjusted operating profit plunged to £0.9m and gross margin fell from 22% to 20%. The board lowers the full-year forecast to an adjusted operating profit of £2.2–2.6m, citing intensified competition, inflation-driven input costs related to the Middle East conflict, and problems in the Polish business. Robinson grants CEO John Melia 300,000 stock options at 130 pence
Robinson has granted its CEO John Melia 300,000 stock options under the Share Option Plan 2026. The exercise price is 130.0 pence per ordinary share (closing price July 6). The award is subject to performance conditions; the options become exercisable after three years and lapse after ten years.
