Solid State: revenue up 38.6% in first half thanks to large order

Solid State reports a 38.6% rise in revenue to £85.7 million for the six months to 30 September 2025, driven by a large communications order. Adjusted pre-tax profit rose to £4.9 million (+96%) and the adjusted operating margin improved to 6.5%. Deliveries of communications products worth £23.3 million to the NSPA and a higher order book (£87.3m at 30 September, £97m at 30 November) support the result. The interim dividend was increased by 10.8% to 0.92p, John Macmichael is interim CEO following the death of Gary Marsh, and a further contract with the British Army (Project CAIN) is expected to begin first deliveries in 2026. » Plus sur de.investing.com
Solid State executives shift shares into ISAs via bed-and-ISA transactions

Executives of Solid State carried out several bed-and-ISA transactions on 30 and 31 October 2025: shares held personally were sold and immediately repurchased into tax-advantaged UK ISAs. Director Matthew Richards gifted 12,200 shares to his wife, sold 36,600 shares and bought 12,200 shares for his ISA; his overall holding remained unchanged. Chief financial officer Pete James and persons closely associated with him also sold and bought shares, increasing his consolidated stake to 155,149 ordinary shares.
