Sonova introduces Phonak EON with its own AI chip for better speech clarity

Sonova launches the EON family with Hypersonic, a proprietary real‑time AI chip and a newly trained neural network that uses 37% less energy than the previous generation. The EON Sphere is, according to Sonova, 25% smaller, 20% lighter and offers battery runtimes of up to 38 hours. In addition, WindBlock 2.0 improves speech clarity outdoors by reducing wind noise by up to 50 decibels. Sonova rises sharply after UBS upgrade

Sonova shares jumped about 6% to CHF 212.4 after UBS raised its rating from "Neutral" to "Buy" and lifted the price target from CHF 206 to CHF 242.
