Tyro Payments reports a 72.3% rise in statutory pre-tax profit for the first half of fiscal year 2026 to $17.7m and an EBITDA of $39.5m (EBITDA margin 33.6%). Free cash flow and cash balances increased significantly, while payment volume grew to $22.9bn and the gross payment margin improved slightly. Users of banking products rose 38%; account balances and new lending grew strongly, supported by new products such as Tyro Transaction Account and Tyro Flexi Loan.
