Videndum reports half-year loss, reduces net debt significantly

Videndum reports H1 2026 revenue of £109.9m, EBITDA of £3.0m and adjusted operating cash flow of £2.3m. Production issues with the Manfrotto ONE line and geopolitical disruptions weighed on results, causing about £6m of lower sales, while the core division remained stable on a like‑for‑like basis. A refinancing cut net debt by £110m to £39.3m and provided £25m of liquidity; gross margin improved to 36%. Videndum plunges to record low after profit warning and CEO change

Videndum’s share price fell 42.5% to a record low after the company issued a sharp profit warning and appointed a new Group CEO. Videndum now expects an adjusted core profit of £15–18m for the full year, well below previous expectations. The company cited disruptions from the Middle East conflict — higher logistics costs, longer delivery times and delayed purchasing decisions — as causes. Videndum raises capital to £85m and strengthens balance sheet

Videndum has completed a capital raise with gross proceeds of around £85m, exceeding the originally targeted £70m. It issued 31,481,482 new ordinary shares at 270 pence each (about an 87% discount to the 6 March price), the majority placed via a firm placing. Net proceeds of approximately £78.9m will be used, among other things, to partly repay the revolving credit facility (£50m) and to bolster liquidity; the resolutions were approved by shareholders with over 99% support.
