Atlassian sees AI as growth driver and announces consumption‑based billing

At the Citi Global TMT Conference 2026, Atlassian said AI is giving the business a tailwind: the "Teamwork Graph" and the "Teamwork Collection" are driving broad user adoption and cross‑selling among enterprise customers. In the fourth fiscal quarter the company generated $1.8 billion in revenue (+28%) and ARR grew 23%; cloud revenues rose 31%. Atlassian plans to introduce consumption‑based billing for more complex AI services starting in December, will keep simple queries free, and will continue to invest heavily in AI infrastructure and expansion of its sales force.
