Eletrobras sells 68% of Eletronuclear for R$535 million to J&F Group

Eletrobras has sold its non-controlling 68% stake in Eletronuclear to J&F Group for an equity value of R$535 million. The transaction transfers guarantees for bonds totaling R$2.4 billion to J&F and releases Eletrobras from future obligations related to the nuclear assets. The sale price is substantially below the book value of about R$7.8 billion, which will result in a non-cash provision in Q3 2025.
