Danaher posts stronger margin and more optimistic outlook, pushing European stocks higher

Danaher to buy Masimo for $9.9 billion in $180-per-share all-cash deal
Danaher agreed to acquire Masimo for $180 per share in an all-cash transaction valuing the deal at about $9.9 billion, implying roughly 18x estimated 2027 EBITDA (about 15x including expected synergies). Masimo will operate as a standalone business within Danaher’s Diagnostics segment, and Danaher expects more than $125 million in annual cost synergies and $50 million in annual revenue synergies by the fifth year.
