DIA accelerates growth in Spain – shares climb about 120%

DIA reports an accelerated operational turnaround in Spain for 2025: gross sales in Spain €5.5bn (+8.6%), like‑for‑like sales growth 7.4% and adjusted EBITDA margin in Spain 6.8% (vs. 6.2%). Group-wide revenue rose to €7.1bn (+3%) and adjusted EBITDA to €316m; group profit doubled to €115m. The company opened 94 new stores, 67% of the network is franchise, and it provided medium-term targets through 2029 (Spain revenue growth 4–6% p.a., EBITDA margin 7.5–8.0%, +300 stores).
