Eli Lilly: Foundayo high dose shows prognostically lower risk for type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease

Eli Lilly combo of amylin drug and tirzepatide delivers greater weight loss in Phase 2 trial
Eli Lilly said a mid-stage trial of an experimental combination regimen—eloralintide (amylin) plus low-dose tirzepatide—produced up to 23.3% weight loss over 48 weeks versus 14.8% for a 15 mg tirzepatide dose and 12.3% for eloralintide alone. The combo also reduced A1C by up to 2.9% compared with 2.4% for higher-dose tirzepatide.
