Emerson Electric raises outlook after strong Q3

Emerson Electric beat expectations in the third quarter with adjusted EPS of $1.71 and revenue of $4.87 billion. Management raised its forecast for fiscal 2026, now expecting, among other things, adjusted EPS of around $6.55, organic revenue growth of 3.5%, and free cash flow of about $3.6 billion. Organic revenue and orders increased by 6% and 7%, respectively; adjusted segment EBITDA margin improved to 28.5% and free cash flow climbed to $1.3 billion. Emerson Electric will integrate SiMa.ai’s MLSoC technology into its industrial PCs to enable real-time edge AI, including autonomous safety features for detecting gas and liquid leaks and operation across harsh temperature ranges. The collaboration aims to advance physical AI workloads and position Emerson for growth in the Industrial AI market, projected to reach $153.9 billion by 2030.
