EnerSys has unveiled the immediately available lithium energy storage system DataSafe Noir, designed for high-density hyperscale and colocation data centers. The company says the system delivers more than double the output power and about 1.7 times higher energy and capacity compared with publicly available competitor specifications, and emphasizes system performance under variable loads, including AI workloads.
