Infineon under pressure again after share jump — bond yields and oil price weigh on chip sector

Infineon stock rises sharply after US jobs data

Infineon shares on Xetra rose about 8.8% on Friday after weaker US jobs data, which dampened expectations of further Fed rate hikes and pushed the Nasdaq 100 to new record highs. Additional support came from the company’s forecast: Infineon expects around €4.7bn in revenue for the current quarter and a segment margin of about 23% (previously 19.1%), driven by power supply solutions for AI data centers. Infineon leads Dax rally after weak US jobs data and AI demand

The Dax recovered 1.17% to 25,231.20 points after unexpectedly weak US labor market data, falling yields and declining oil prices. Infineon jumped 8.8% to the top of the Dax, driven by rising demand for semiconductors for AI.
