Lufthansa strike: cabin crew disrupts numerous flights on Friday
The flight attendants' union Ufo has called employees of Lufthansa and its subsidiary CityLine to a full-day strike on Friday from 00:01 to 22:00, affecting departures mainly from Frankfurt and Munich as well as CityLine flights from several German airports. The action follows a strike ballot in which about 94 percent (Lufthansa) and almost 99 percent (CityLine) voted in favor of industrial action. Ufo is demanding, among other things, longer notice periods for dismissals, better predictability of rosters and negotiations on a social tariff; Lufthansa is calling for talks to resume and says it will automatically notify affected customers. » Altro su n-tv.de
