Sega pulls Total War: Shogun 2 — Complete Edition after buggy, AI-upscaled remaster launch
Sega and Creative Assembly removed Total War: Shogun 2 — Complete Edition from storefronts after users reported widespread bugs and art upscaling that appears to have been produced by AI, prompting an "Overwhelmingly Negative" rating on Steam. The companies said they will reinstate the original game and ensure existing owners can still access the Complete Edition while they investigate problems and work with their development partner to deliver fixes. Sega’s Golden Axe becomes animated series on Paramount+
Sega’s classic hack-and-slash Golden Axe has been adapted into an animated fantasy action-comedy that premieres on Paramount+ on September 16, 2026. The 10-episode series, created by Mike McMahan and Joe Chandler, features Matthew Rhys, Danny Pudi, Lisa Gilroy and Liam McIntyre and is billed as a humorous homage to the games. The plot reunites Ax Battler, Tyris Flare and Gilius Thunderhead against villain Death Adder, with a new, comic sidekick Hampton Squib; the show is rated TV-14 and will release all episodes at once. » Altro su forbes.com
