VIAVI launches Vertex 6.0 channel emulator for 6G and Wi‑Fi 7/8

VIAVI has introduced the Vertex 6.0 platform, a channel emulator for testing 6G and Wi‑Fi 7/8 technologies with an instantaneous bandwidth of 400 MHz and carrier frequencies up to 23.6 GHz. The modular system can be integrated into a 6U Vertex chassis (36 RF ports, 256 digital connections, up to 1.6 GHz aggregated bandwidth) and supports FR3 bands up to 1 GHz, multi‑user MIMO, TDD/FDD and native Wi‑Fi‑7/8 features such as 320 MHz channels and 4096 QAM.
