Moody's has raised CenterPoint Energy Resources' commercial paper rating from P-2 to P-1, correcting an error from 19 August 2026. The action has no impact on other ratings or CERC's stable outlook. Moody's cites the low business risk of the portfolio of four gas distributors and expects solid financial metrics, notably an operating cash flow to debt ratio of around 21–26%.
