Chesapeake Utilities is selling a 49% minority interest in the natural gas transport project Florida Energy Pathway to NextEra Energy Resources while retaining 51% through Peninsula Pipeline Holdings. Peninsula Pipeline Company will build, operate and manage the 24-inch infrastructure project from Palm Beach County to Miami-Dade County. The estimated total investment is about $1.2 billion, with construction expected to start in the first half of 2028 and commissioning after final acceptance planned for 2030.
