The AI firm Anthropic has reportedly appointed Citigroup as part of the banking consortium for its planned IPO. Alongside Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan, Citigroup would take a leading role in preparing the transaction. Anthropic is considering filing the listing application by the end of the month; additional banks may join the consortium. Citigroup will provide Bitcoin custody for institutional clients, integrating crypto custody into the same infrastructure it uses for traditional assets.
