D’Ieteren shares climbed 4.7% after the group reported an adjusted pre-tax result of €482.4m (+8.4% at constant exchange rates) and reiterated guidance for low- to mid-single-digit percentage profit growth. The driver was Belron, which reported revenue growth, an adjusted operating margin of 23% (+160 basis points) and strong free cash flow; Parts Holding Europe and TVH also contributed positively. By contrast, D’Ieteren Automotive fell 66.6% due to weakness in the Belgian new-car market, a market-share loss of 153 basis points and a goodwill impairment of €47.2m. D’Ieteren Group reports an 8.4% currency-adjusted increase in adjusted pre-tax profit to EUR 482m in the first half of 2026. The rise was driven by strong results at Belron and growth at PHE and TVH, while D’Ieteren Automotive significantly underperformed and launched a transformation plan with up to 344 job cuts. D’Ieteren reports underlying operative growth of 3.8% for 2025 despite a 10.3% decline in adjusted pre-tax profit to €955.6 million, mainly weighed down by currency headwinds and additional financing costs of around €184 million. The group generated free cash flow of €374 million, proposes a dividend of €2.00 per share and reinstated a €100 million buyback programme. By segment, Belron remained the largest earnings contributor, PHE showed marked profit growth, TVH and Moleskine showed weaknesses, and D’Ieteren Automotive benefited from a leading position in electric vehicles in Belgium.
