Digi International jumps as AI and automation demand boosts IoT connectivity

Riverwater Partners highlighted Digi International as a material contributor in its Q2 2026 Small Cap Strategy letter, saying the stock gained about 55% as demand for connected infrastructure accelerated with AI and automation buildout. Digi International beats Q3 expectations and raises full-year guidance

Digi International reported adjusted earnings of $0.75 per share and revenue of $139 million for the third fiscal quarter of 2026, both above consensus expectations. Adjusted EBITDA margin hit a record 29.1%, gross margin was 64.8%, and operating cash flow rose to $33 million. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) climbed to a record $191 million, prompting management to raise its 2026 revenue, EBITDA and EPS guidance. Digi International brings ConnectCore 95 SMARC module with NXP i.MX 95 and cloud service package

Digi International has made the ConnectCore 95 SMARC system-on-module development kit with the NXP i.MX 95 processor available worldwide. The 82 x 50 mm SMARC 2.2 module offers up to six Arm Cortex‑A55 cores, an NPU with up to 2 TOPS, tri-band Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, and is delivered with five years of Digi ConnectCore Cloud Services, Digi TrustFence security features and lifecycle management.
