The project combines an 86 MW solar array, Eos’s zinc-based long-duration storage (Z3) of 10 MW/100 MWh, and a lithium-ion storage system of 70 MW/280 MWh; commissioning is planned for 2028 (solar) and 2030 (long-duration storage). Eos Energy is moving all battery manufacturing to Thorn Hill (Warrendale, PA), completing its Pittsburgh production plan. The consolidation — already factored into its annual revenue guidance of $300–350 million — is expected to reduce conversion costs by about 10–15% starting in 2027 and achieve a nameplate capacity of roughly 4 GWh. The move from Turtle Creek will begin in the fourth quarter and is expected to be finished in early 2027; assembly, testing and shipping in Turtle Creek (building 200) will remain in place.
