Spire has completed the sale of its natural gas storage businesses in Wyoming and Oklahoma to I Squared Capital for $650 million ($600 million cash at closing plus a $50 million deferred payment in fiscal 2027). The assets sold include two storage fields in southwest Wyoming (up to 55 Bcf working gas) and one field in north Oklahoma (up to 17 Bcf) and will become part of Bear River Midstream, whose CEO will be Scott Smith.
