Tufton Oceanic Assets: ship maintenance weighs on half-year revenue
Tufton Oceanic Assets reports first-half revenue of USD 47m, operating expenses of USD 26.10m and EBIT of USD 20.90m. The main reason for the revenue decline was increased scheduled yard stays, which led to more off-hire days; nine vessels underwent maintenance and one vessel was sold above its NAV. Net profit rose to USD 33m, supported by higher charter-free values and improved operational performance.
