Philipp LeibundGut has resigned from the board of directors of Valartis with immediate effect for personal reasons. LeibundGut had been a member of the board since 2016 and had chaired the compensation committee since 2018. Valartis has not yet disclosed who will succeed him or whether he will be replaced. The financial group Valartis reported a net profit of 3.7 million francs for the first half of 2026, well below last year’s 8.6 million francs. The decline is due to the absence of positive one-off effects from the previous year; on an adjusted basis, operating performance improved. Operating income fell by over 22% to 5.5 million francs, while income from management services (+15% to 1.5 million) and from investment properties (≈+24% to 2.6 million) increased.
