BKV Corp receives approval for 50% joint venture with Banpu Power

Shareholders of Banpu Power Public Company Limited approved the sale of a 50% stake in BKV‑BPP Power, LLC to BKV Corp; the acquisition is being made by subsidiary Banpu Power US Corporation and is subject to the conditions set out in the purchase agreement. BKV raised approximately $170.3 million net from a guaranteed public offering by placing 6.9 million shares at $26.00 each. The board approved a $100 million share buyback program for two years, and majority shareholder Banpu North America Corporation increased the stock participation plan by 2.5 million shares.
