British American Tobacco wants to drive future revenue growth primarily through vapes and oral tobacco. The “New Category” segment is expected to grow in the mid-teens percentage range by 2030 and to achieve a contribution margin of at least 30 percent. BAT Germany chief Blagoje Jovanovic says the company will restructure its business from traditional cigarettes toward e-cigarettes, heated tobacco products and nicotine pouches, aiming for half of global revenue in these categories by 2035.
